Through a public consultation, a Call for Stories, Visions and Partners, we’ll uncover untold tales and engage with local stakeholders to ensure we take advantage of the immense expertise and knowledge within the local community to help inform the Masterplan.

NEXT STEPS

The next steps will see completion of the Canterbury’s Tales of England Masterplan Feasibility Study in September & October 2023 - followed by the launch of our Public Consultation in November 2023. We then hope to be in the position to form the Canterbury Heritage Regeneration Trust and begin developing funding applications in early 2024.

PUBLIC CALL FOR STORIES

A public Call for Stories will uncover hidden tales, take advantage of local knowledge and ensure the project tells all of Canterbury’s important stories.

CALL FOR VISIONs

A Call for Visions will invite local architects, societies and organisations to share their long term plans and visions for Canterbury - providing access to a wealth of experience and knowledge to help inform the Masterplan.

CALL FOR PARTNERS

A Call for Partners will engage local stakeholders, accessing the opinions, expertise and support of local organisations, identifying supporting projects and encouraging development of complimentary projects under the Canterbury’s Tales of England shared story.
